Web Developer Intern

As a Web Developer (Intern) at Karbon, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of our websites and digital infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and optimizing websites and landing pages on platforms like Webflow and WordPress. You will manage domain, hosting, DNS, SSL, CDN, and server configurations to ensure speed, security, scalability, and mobile optimization. Additionally, you will be in charge of setting up monitoring, backups, and regular updates. Using your skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, you will work on custom builds and fixes, troubleshoot bugs, site performance issues, and integration errors. You will also implement structured workflows for staging, versioning, and deployments. Furthermore, you will connect websites with CRMs, analytics, and automation tools through APIs/plugins, supporting experiments with new tools and integrations for growth. Over time, you will contribute to building custom in-house tools for marketing and automation. Key skills and tools that we are looking for in a candidate include proficiency in Webflow, WordPress, Cloudflare, domains, DNS, SSL, CDN, server/hosting infrastructure, HTML, CSS, APIs, plugins, and automation tools. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have an understanding of SEO, familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, cloud deployment experience, and exposure to domain routing and reverse proxy setups. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in web development and site management, be a strong technical problem-solver comfortable with hosting and infrastructure, possess a curious and fast-learning mindset especially regarding marketing tools and integrations, and be enthusiastic about starting with websites and progressing into building custom internal tools.
