Web Application Developer

You will be joining NVIDIA as a Software Engineer focusing on Web Application development. Your primary role will involve working on industry standard web applications using .NET (Core) technology. Your responsibilities will include building, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable applications and services. You will work with RESTful services, handle service integrations, and utilize ORMs such as Entity Framework and SQL Server for data access and storage. Additionally, you will manage containerized deployments on Linux with Docker, orchestrate infrastructure using Ansible, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines in GitLab. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining .NET Core services and applications, including APIs, background services, and middleware. You will also leverage Entity Framework and SQL Server for efficient data persistence, optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, and use Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security will be crucial, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining code quality through testing and documentation. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience along with a BS degree in Computer Science. Strong experience in .NET Core development, familiarity with OData, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, and proficiency in Docker and Linux-based deployments are required. Experience with SSO, RabbitMq, GitLab, and Ansible is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with global teams. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), front-end technologies, encryption, and SSO authentication will be advantageous.
