  • Senior Medical Coder

Locations:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review medical charts and assign accurate

    ICD-10-CM codes

    for HCC.
  • Ensure compliance with

    CMS and payer guidelines

    .
  • Maintain

    high accuracy, productivity, and quality standards

    .
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve discrepancies and reduce coding errors.
  • Mentor junior coders (for Senior and SME roles).
  • Support process improvements and coding best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum

    1.5 years

    of HCC coding experience.
  • Strong knowledge of

    ICD-10-CM & risk adjustment models

    .
  • Proficient in

    medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

    .
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading a team is a plus (for Senior/SME roles).
