Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

VoIP / Dialer QA Manager

with expertise in both

manual and automation testing

to lead our QA function. The role requires in-depth knowledge of

VoIP protocols, dialer platforms, and testing methodologies

, along with proven ability to manage a QA team and deliver high-quality communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers (Manual & Automation).
  • Define and implement

    QA strategy, frameworks, and best practices

    for VoIP and dialer-based systems.
  • Oversee

    test planning, design, execution, and defect management

    across projects.
  • Perform and guide the team in

    manual testing

    : functional, regression, end-to-end call flow, IVR, inbound/outbound routing, conferencing, campaign management, etc.
  • Drive

    automation testing initiatives

    by building and maintaining test scripts and frameworks (using SIPp, JMeter, Python, or equivalent).
  • Validate

    performance, scalability, and QoS parameters

    (MOS, latency, jitter, packet loss).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps, and Support) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure

    test environment readiness

    and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track QA metrics, generate

    dashboards and reports

    , and present findings to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with

    telecom regulations and quality standards

    .

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in

    VoIP protocols

    (SIP, RTP, H.323, MGCP, WebRTC).
  • Proven experience in

    Dialer QA

    (Predictive, Auto, Progressive, and Manual Dialers VICIdial, Genesys, Avaya, Five9, Aspect, etc.).
  • Proficiency with

    QA/testing tools

    : Wireshark, SIPp, JMeter, VoIPmonitor, and defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in

    manual testing

    and deep knowledge of

    automation frameworks

    .
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Shell, or Java).
  • Solid knowledge of

    networking fundamentals

    : TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, NAT, Firewalls, QoS.
  • Exposure to

    Linux/Unix environments

    .
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with

    cloud-based VoIP/dialer platforms

    (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of telecom compliance (TCPA, GDPR, DNC regulations).
  • Familiarity with

    CI/CD pipelines

    (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
  • Professional certifications: ISTQB, CCNA Voice, SIP School, or similar.
