VMC Programmer (SPM - Machine)

As a VMC Programmer with 2-4 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and operations, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing VMC programs using PowerMill software. Your key responsibilities will include interpreting 2D/3D CAD drawings for accurate part machining, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting VMC machines, conducting test runs, making adjustments for precision, collaborating with design and production teams, maintaining documentation of programs and setup sheets, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and production timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize VMC programs using PowerMill - Interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings for accurate part machining - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot VMC machines - Conduct test runs and make adjustments to ensure precision - Collaborate with design and production teams for smooth workflow - Maintain documentation of all programs and setup sheets - Ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in PowerMill software - Strong understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances - Experience with tool selection and fixture setup - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail - Knowledge of SPM (Special Purpose Machines) is a plus This is a full-time role with 10-hour shifts on a rotational basis.
