This position is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a Vertical Machining Centre machine. Also perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on VMC machinery. Use specialized instruments to ensure quality requirements.
1. Check material availability as per production plan on station with required documents.
2. Start operation after verifying machine program, offset, last part produce dimension reports.
3. Loading part into machine for machining as per set program.
4. Make entry in ERP for operation finished part.
5. Performing routine inspection of processed part and 100 % visual check.
6. Maximize productivity of the machine.
7. Understanding specifications of the tasks at hand and the desired result by reading mechanical drawing.
8. Sending PDF, DXF, IGS files to vendor for machining of parts
9. Operating BFW Agni V4 FANUC Control 3 Axis machine
10. Programming software: MasterCAM 2023.
