Video Editors will be responsible for crafting visually engaging and emotionally impactful videos that resonate with the target audience. This role involves collaborating with various teams to produce high-quality video content for campaigns. Work primarily includes making speech cuts of leaders, video slideshows, creative campaign launch videos, explainers for various SM platforms etc. We are looking for someone with a great visual sense, knowledge of colour correction, excellent sense of pace and timing (rhythm), managing multiple projects in multiple timelines, ability to visualise the written word and express it in AV to achieve the Creative Director s vision. Ability to generate and handle AI-based videos through the usage of ChatGPT, Midjourney, VEO3 etc. are brownies.

Responsibilities:

Enhance Raw Footage: Edit raw footage into polished videos.
Content Development: Collaborate on script development and visual storytelling for campaigns and create videos from scratch using material available online and other possible sources.
Technical Expertise: Use advanced editing tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and FCP.
AI Videos: Employ smart prompting techniques to capitalize on AI tools, to generate visuals that can aid the aesthetics of final cuts.
File Management: Organize and manage rendered files and create a video repository, especially of speech cuts, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use and updates.
Quality Control: Ensure seamless transitions, sound integration, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
Innovative Approach: Experiment with new editing techniques and formats to create impactful content.

Preferred Qualification:

3 7 years of experience in Video Editing, preferably in political or social campaigns.
Ability to double-up as a Graphic Designer, and also work with quick and time-bound visual outputs by usage of mobile-based design apps viz., CapCut, VN, Inshot, Instagram Edits etc.
Skilled in handling AI generating tools viz., Midjourney, ChatGPT, VEO 3, CapCut etc.

Minimum Qualification:

3 to 5 years of video editing experience, and exceptional knowledge in Premiere Pro CC 2019 and later versions, Adobe AE, including Plugins like Boris, FCP as well as Envato, Freepik etc.
Proficiency in Tamil and English.
