Job Description

esponsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients by overseeing a team comprising Seniors, Senior Associates, and Associates.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of audit services in line with established methodologies and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key client stakeholders, including principals and partners.
  • Coordinate with clients on workflow management, assign team members to appropriate tasks, and monitor performance, utilization, and operational metrics (e.g., budget vs. actuals).
  • Demonstrate professionalism and clear communication while interacting with clients and engagement teams.
  • Establish clear expectations regarding the value and outcomes to be delivered.
  • Identify opportunities to expand or improve the scope of services.
  • Promote standardization and the adoption of best practices across engagements.
  • Foster team development by encouraging active contribution, delegating responsibilities effectively, and building high-performing teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Utilize technology and tools to enhance learning, improve efficiency, and support service delivery.
  • Contribute to team capability building by participating in technical and soft skills training.
  • Support organizational initiatives such as recruitment, internal training sessions, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant professional standards and firm policies.
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters and support issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Articleship completed with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • For Qualified Candidates:

    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in U.S. audits.
  • For Non-Qualified Candidates:

    Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in U.S. audits.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS.
  • Experience working with industry clients in Employee Benefit Plans (EBP), Healthcare, and Not-for-Profit (NFP).
  • Proficiency in using audit tools and applications.
