Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct final visual and dimensional inspection of products using gauges, instruments, and checklists.
Verify product compliance as per drawings, SOPs, and inspection standards.
Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports/LSL-USL sheets.
Identify and segregate non-conforming products and inform QC/Production immediately.
Ensure proper tagging, marking, and traceability of inspected lots.
Follow control plans, sampling plans, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain 5S, safety, and cleanliness in the inspection area.
Support in final audits, customer audits, and internal quality checks.
Handle and maintain gauges, instruments, and measuring devices in good condition.
Participate in quality improvement activities and raise suggestions for defect prevention.
