Unreal Engine Environment Artist

As an Unreal Engine Environment Artist specializing in architectural visualization, your role involves creating stunning, photorealistic architectural scenes. You will be responsible for 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting within Unreal Engine to breathe life into architectural concepts. Collaborating closely with architects, designers, and visualization leads, you will craft immersive environments that accurately convey design intent with artistic flair. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed and optimized 3D models of architectural environments, developing high-quality textures and materials, setting up dynamic and static lighting for photorealistic results, integrating models, textures, lighting, and camera setups to build complete environments, and ensuring scene optimization without compromising visual quality. Additionally, you will work in tandem with the architecture team, art leads, developers, and project managers to align artistic vision with technical requirements and implement feedback to enhance visual outputs. To excel in this role, you should possess proven experience as an Environment Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing architectural visualization work in Unreal Engine. Proficiency in 3D modeling software, a strong understanding of texturing and PBR workflows, familiarity with lighting techniques in Unreal Engine (particularly UE5), and a solid grasp of architectural space and composition are essential. Knowledge of CAD/BIM integration, attention to detail, and excellent communication and time-management skills are also key requirements. Preferred skills include experience in virtual tours or interactive architectural walkthroughs and knowledge of Blueprint scripting for scene interaction.
