UI/UX Trainer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Trainer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of professional UI/UX design experience and a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring designers.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Mentoring:

• Conduct structured, interactive training sessions for batches of students in UI/UX design principles and methodologies
• Deliver comprehensive training on user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
• Guide students through real-world case studies and design projects to build strong portfolios
• Provide constructive feedback and mentor students on career readiness, including interview preparation and presentation skills

Curriculum Development:

• Create and maintain engaging course materials including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises
• Develop training content covering information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
• Update curriculum to reflect current industry trends and emerging design tools
• Design hands-on workshops and project-based learning experiences

Technical Instruction:

• Teach proficiency in industry-standard tools including Figma (mandatory), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and other relevant software
• Cover responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and design systems
• Instruct on user experience research methods, persona development, and user journey mapping

Required Qualifications :

Experience & Expertise:

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design (agency, product company, or freelance)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web and mobile app interface design
• Hands-on experience with the complete UX design process from research to final implementation

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma (mandatory) and other design tools like Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Understanding of HTML/CSS basics and design-to-development handoff processes
• Knowledge of usability testing, A/B testing, and user research methodologies

Teaching & Communication:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
• Passion for teaching and mentoring with demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills
• Patience and adaptability to work with students of varying skill levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT , Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with product design thinking and understanding of business strategy alignment
• Knowledge of video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Previous training or teaching experience in design or technology
