UI Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Translate user research and business requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that define the user experience.
• Design intuitive and visually attractive user interfaces (UI) for websites, landing pages, and other digital assets, ensuring brand consistency.
• Create user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI kits to ensure consistency and efficiency in design.
• Collaborate closely with web developers, SEO specialists, and content creators to ensure design feasibility and optimal implementation.
• Present designs and prototypes to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and incorporating feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Conduct competitor analysis and evaluate existing digital experiences to identify areas for

improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related creative field.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects (websites, web applications).
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and web usability.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie).
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better communicate with developers.
• Experience with A/B testing and user analytics.
• Familiarity with the interior design, education, or hospitality industry sectors.
