UI Architect

As a highly skilled UI Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of a framework-agnostic Web Component Library and Design System that seamlessly integrates with various modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, etc. The first iteration of these web components has been developed using Stencil.js, so prior experience with Stencil.js is highly desirable. Your key responsibilities will include architecting and developing a framework-independent Web Component Library and Design System, implementing theming capabilities for components based on Design Token strategies, leveraging Atomic Design principles to build scalable UI components, and designing efficient CI/CD pipelines for packaging, versioning, and publishing the Component Library to NPM. You will also be required to establish and enforce best practices for UI/UX development, accessibility, performance, and scalability, collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams for seamless integration of UI components, and optimize front-end performance to ensure a superior user experience. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 12 years of experience in UI/Front-end development with expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, strong experience in Web Components, Design Systems, and Component Libraries, proficiency in Stencil.js or equivalent Web Component frameworks, expertise in CSS methodologies, understanding of Design Tokens, and hands-on experience in Atomic Design methodologies. Additionally, you should possess deep knowledge of CI/CD processes, automated testing, and deployment strategies, strong expertise in performance optimization techniques for front-end applications, familiarity with accessibility standards, and responsive web design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment are also essential. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Micro Frontends and Module Federation, knowledge of GraphQL and API-driven UI development, contributions to open-source projects related to UI frameworks or Web Components, and familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar for UI/UX collaboration.
