Tools Design Engineer

As a Senior Tools Dev Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing tests to identify defects early in the software development lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing automated end-to-end tests for client's device driver and SDKs on the Windows platform, executing automated tests, and identifying defects. Additionally, you will measure code coverage, analyze improvements, and build applications/tools for data-driven insights in development and test workflows. Moreover, you will develop tools in Python/C/C++ to automate and optimize testing workflows in the GPU domain. Your tasks will also include writing maintainable, reliable code, debugging issues, providing peer code reviews, estimating and prioritizing tasks for realistic delivery schedules, testing compatibility across various products and interfaces, and reporting progress effectively to leadership. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B. Tech degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics engineering with strong academics or equivalent experience - 5+ years of programming experience in Python/C/C++ with proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts - Hands-on knowledge of developing Python scripts with familiarity in dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, PIP, etc. - Experience in utilizing AI development tools for test plan creation, test case development, and test case automation - Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and conducting performance/load testing for high traffic scenarios - Familiarity with databases and storage technologies like SQL and Elasticsearch - Good understanding of OS fundamentals, PC hardware, and troubleshooting - Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple development teams, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of engineers Additional Company Details (if available): The company provides an opportunity to work on challenging technical and process issues, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in building ML and DL based applications, a good understanding of testing fundamentals, and solid problem-solving skills.,
