Job Description

You are invited to join Teamware Solutions, a division of Quantum Leap Consulting Pvt. Ltd, as an SQL/MongoDB/Postgres/RDS Database Migration Specialist. This role is based in Bangalore and Hyderabad, offering a hybrid work mode with a requirement of 7-10 years of experience and an immediate to 15 days notice period. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end database migrations across various environments, including on-premises, virtualized, and cloud setups. This will involve working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB workloads. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing migration strategies using a mix of native and third-party tools for optimal performance, availability, and minimal downtime. You will be expected to conduct comprehensive assessments of source and target databases, considering factors such as data volume, schema complexity, compatibility, and transformation requirements. Your role will also involve defining and validating Low-Level Designs (LLDs), covering network topology, storage, replication, access controls, and disaster recovery configurations. Furthermore, you will be required to orchestrate wave-based migration plans, implement data validation processes, establish rollback mechanisms, and define cutover strategies that align with business SLAs. The role necessitates a strong understanding of SQL/MongoDB/Postgres/RDS technologies and the ability to work within a flexible work timing of 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
