About the Role
Yuva Trip Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Ticketing & Reservation Trainee to support our customers with their travel and booking requirements. As part of the GDS Ticketing team, you will assist with flight bookings, ticket issuance, modifications, cancellations, and reservation-related queries.
Your primary goal will be to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with flight bookings, including airline options, schedules, and fares
Process reservations and issue flight tickets (electronic/paper) using Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
Handle ticket changes, rebookings, cancellations, and calculate refunds
Provide excellent customer service by resolving queries and reservation-related issues
Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers to ensure accurate and updated information
Stay informed about airline policies, travel guidelines, and industry updates
Follow company procedures and aviation regulations to maintain accuracy and compliance
Qualifications
Freshers are welcome; prior experience in travel or ticketing is an advantage
Basic knowledge of GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is preferred
Understanding of airline codes, fares, and ticketing rules is beneficial
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle challenging customer situations professionally
Key Skills
Knowledge of GDS (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo) – preferred
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Problem-solving ability
