Thales Cipher Suite Operations Professional

We are seeking a skilled Thales Cipher Suite Operations Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize Thales CipherTrust / CipherSuite platforms for enterprise data security. The role involves overseeing encryption services, key management, access control, and integration with business applications, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation ConfigurationDeploy and configure Thales CipherTrust / Cipher Suite solutions (HSMs, key management, data encryption).Integrate Cipher Suite with databases, file systems, cloud services, and enterprise applications.Implement and maintain policies for encryption, key lifecycle management, and access control.
• Operations AdministrationManage daily operations of Cipher Suite platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.Administer encryption keys, digital certificates, and cryptographic services.Monitor system health, logs, and security events.
• Perform regular key rotation, backup, and recovery operations.Ensure integration with SIEM, IAM, and compliance reporting tools.
• Security ComplianceSupport data protection and compliance requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc).Conduct audits, risk assessments, and remediation related to encryption and key management.
• Provide compliance reports to security, audit, and governance teams.Support TroubleshootingAct as L2/L3 support for issues related to Cipher Suite services.
• Collaborate with vendor (Thales) for escalations and fixes.Automate operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Shell).

• Hands-on experience with Thales CipherTrust / Cipher Suite or equivalent (eg, Vormetric, HSMs, Key Management Systems).
• Strong knowledge of encryption, PKI, TLS/SSL, cryptographic algorithms, and key lifecycle management.Familiarity with cloud KMS (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, GCP KMS).
• Experience in Windows, Linux, and enterprise security ecosystems.Understanding of regulatory frameworks (PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
