Testing Engineer

Roles And Responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end testing workflows across both manual and automated test cycles.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to fully understand feature requirements, edge cases, and use cases.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Validate UI/UX flows, API responses, integrations, and error handling across platforms.
• Log clear, reproducible bugs and work closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
• Build or maintain basic automation scripts for high-value scenarios using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or BugBug.
• Contribute to test automation pipelines and continuous integration environments.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing for each release.
• Use tools like ClickUp or JIRA for test management and tracking.
• Support the evolution of internal testing processes, documentation, and quality standards.
  

Requirements

• 1â2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience working with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or BugBug.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools like Postman, ClickUp/JIRA, and browser developer tools.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to identify edge cases and break workflows.
• Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with cross-functional teams.
  

Good to Have

• Experience in testing complex workflows, integrations, or enterprise-scale SaaS products.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of SQL or MongoDB for backend or data-level validation.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Understanding of accessibility and security testing principles.
