Job Description

Looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDETwith strong experience inPython-based test automation,BDD frameworks, andDevOps toolchains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test strategies for complex web applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery in aLinux/UNIX-based Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintainautomated test scriptsusingPythonandPytest.
ImplementBehavior-Driven Development (BDD)usingCucumberor similar frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to definetest strategiesandacceptance criteria.
Integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelinesusingGitLab,Jenkins, andDocker.
Manage and maintain test environments usingAnsible,Chef, andKubernetes.
Performdata-driven testing,performance testing, andserver-side validation.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Ensure test coverage forweb applications,APIs, andsystem interfaces.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science,Information Technology, or related field.
5-8 years of experience insoftware testing,test automation, orDevOps QAroles.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Python,Pytest,BDD (Cucumber)
- Linux/UNIX environments,server-side scripting
- DevOps tools:GitLab,Jenkins,Ansible,Chef,Docker,Kubernetes
Solid understanding ofAgile methodologies,test management, andCI/CD practices.
Experience withdata analysis,data processing, andweb application testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity withinfrastructure as code (IaC)andcontainer orchestration.
Knowledge ofsecurity testing,API testing, andperformance benchmarking.
