Test Manager

About the Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Manager to lead and oversee the testing team for ZEISS Application Software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all test activities and deliverables, ensuring the highest quality standards are met across global teams. This role requires a strong leader who can mentor testers, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 10-15 years’ experience in software testing and quality assurance, with 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Certification: ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification is required, showcasing a strong foundation in testing principles and practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA XRAY, and Confluence.

• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor global teams, manage resources, and drive quality initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in tracking and analyzing quality metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hardware testing and embedded testing.
