Role Overview:

We are hiring a Talend ETL Test Engineer to ensure the accuracy, quality, and seamless integration of our data workflows. The role involves testing Talend-based ETL solutions, validating data pipelines, and supporting our transition to AWS cloud-based data solutions.

This position requires hands-on expertise in Talend ETL testing, data quality validation, and integration testing, along with the ability to collaborate closely with data engineering and cloud teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Talend ETL Testing:

• Design and execute test plans for on-premise Talend workflows.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and consistent data transformations.

• Automation:

• Build and maintain automated test scripts for Talend ETL processes.
• Extend automation coverage to AWS-based solutions.

• AWS Data Testing:

• Test AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Athena for data processing and storage.
• Validate seamless integration between on-premise and AWS systems.

• Integration Testing:

• Verify data flow and transformations across hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud).

• Error Handling & Logging:

• Ensure robust error handling and logging mechanisms are in place.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with data engineering and cloud teams to align testing strategies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Talend ETL testing (minimum 2 years).
• Experience in automation frameworks for Talend ETL.
• Familiarity with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Athena.
• Solid understanding of data quality principles and integration testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in onshore-offshore collaborative environments.
