Test Engineer

As an Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be expected to have a good understanding of WLAN/BT protocols, communication systems, and coding in C#/C++ or Python. Your primary tasks will include designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, documenting software defects using bug tracking systems, and reporting defects to software developers. You will also be developing testing programs, automating test cases, and participating in product design reviews to provide inputs on any feature design gaps. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures - Document software defects and report them to software developers - Develop testing programs addressing explicit and implicit requirements - Automate test cases and execute them - Participate in product design reviews to provide inputs on feature design gaps Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Good knowledge of WLAN & BT protocols - 1+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C#, C++, Java, Python, etc. Additional Details: In this role, you will work under close supervision, taking responsibility for your own work with limited impact decisions. You will utilize your verbal and written communication skills to convey information about day-to-day activities to others. Additionally, you will troubleshoot technical problems creatively, solve moderately complex problems using deductive problem-solving, and collaborate with project teams to achieve project objectives.
