Job Description

You are expected to have the following competencies: - JLPT N3 or N2 certified, with fluency in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese with native speakers. - 3 to 10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing, and Maintenance projects. - Knowledge and hands-on experience in Software testing life cycle (STLC) in insurance (Life & P&C) or financial services domains. - Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases/scripts and clear test documentation. - Understanding of Agile/sprint-based QA and distributed team collaboration. - Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs from Business & IT, Onsite and Offshore teams. - Actively involved in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hours. - Hands-on experience with automation and integration testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI, Postman, etc.). - Familiarity with test data management and synthetic data generation (GenRocket). - Basic SQL/database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with CI/CD environments.
