Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at DigiMantra, a global IT service provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through the design, implementation, and execution of test cases. Joining our team in Mohali, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to address issues and uphold product stability through regression testing. Your expertise in software testing principles and automation tools will drive the success of our innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Conduct manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. - Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. - Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to address issues. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools. - Perform regression testing to uphold product stability. - Work in Agile/Scrum teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. - Ensure adherence to best practices in software testing and quality assurance. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. - Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies. - Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit. - Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssured. - Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is advantageous. - Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience in mobile application testing. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Exposure to cloud testing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.,
