Test Engineer, Advanced

Strategically design Test processes and lead development of Manufacturing Test solutions and
applications involving electro mechanical Hardware and Software code development. Primary role is todesign and develop solutions using latest tools and technologies to create most efficient and optimizedmanufacturing processes. This role requires innovative mindset to create new and different to influenceand provide direction to leadership teams to adopt new manufacturing technologies positivelyimpacting Zebra business. This position offers future advancements to the right candidate intoleadership roles in Technical operations arm of Supply chain to lead, develop, automate, optimize andinnovate Manufacturing Test strategies & solutions, for wide range of Zebra offered products andsolutions.

• Lead designing and architecting Test Strategies and solutions along with their execution with
other team members.• Co-develop, strategize and lead projects in manufacturing space to create low cost, highlyefficient and sustainable processes within Zebra adopted framework of Industrial standards.• Test software development along with hardware design of manufacturing test systems forcalibration & functional testing of electronic devices and opto-mechanical electronic products.Such products include specialty printers, mobile computers, laser & imaging scanning products.• Document test solutions, drawings, schematics and specifications as per departmental practices.• Perform Measurement validation and acceptance criteria using Measurement System Analysis(MSA) tools to validate the designed test system (Cpk, GR&R).• Support product testing during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase as well as sustainingsupport.• Lead in Benchmarking test solutions to latest technologies and trends in manufacturingenvironment with the goal to improve product quality, line efficiencies and throughput within LSSand I4.0 Framework• Makes changes to or upgrades existing systems. Enhances and improves existing technologies toapply to new solutions seeking new tools to analyze and solve problems.• Be able to echange ideas and articulate designs for test systems with peers and others in solutionarchitectiure

• Minimum Education:
    o Bachelors Degree in Engineering(Electronics/Computer Sc./Physics) or Major in Physics• Minimum Work Experience (years):    o 8 +Yrs.• Key Skills and Competencies:    o Expert in (5+ yrs.) Python scripting, Labview, C++    o Minimum 2 yrs of experience in use of Data analytics tools and development – Power BI/Looker    o Expert in Technical analysis with problem-solving capability associated with the manufacturing or functionality of electronic systems• Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications:    o S/W development - training certifications• Equivalencies:    o 5 yrs experience in S/w coding

Position Specific Information:
    • Travel Requirements (as a % of time): 15-25%    • Able to telework? Yes/no – if yes, % of time and expectations while teleworking: Yes. 30% -40%Remote operation and provindig support.
