Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade test automation frameworks and solutions.
Conduct requirement analysis and define comprehensive test strategies and plans.
Review and validate the functionality of existing systems and propose enhancements.
Simulate real-time scenarios by designing optimal test environments and data sets.
Mentor and guide QA engineers in automation practices, tools, and technologies.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure timely execution of test cycles and delivery of defect-free solutions.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve automation capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience in leading test automation initiatives and architecting automation frameworks. Having expertise and experience in below:

Automation Frameworks & Tools:
Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
Programming & Scripting Languages:
Java, Python, JavaScript, C#
CI/CD & DevOps:
Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Maven, Gradle, Git, Bitbucket
Cloud & Containerization:
AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
API & Performance Testing:
Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner
Security & Service Virtualization:
OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, WireMock, Mountebank
AI for QA:
Integration of AI/ML models for test case generation, defect prediction, intelligent test prioritization, and anomaly detection using tools like Testim, Functionize, and AI-powered analytics platforms
QA for AI:
Validation and testing of AI/ML models including data integrity checks, model performance evaluation, bias detection, and reproducibility testing using frameworks like MLflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), and PyTorch
Test Management & Reporting:
JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, qTest, Allure, Extent Reports, ReportPortal
Architecture & Design Principles:
Page Object Model, Singleton, Factory Pattern, Scalable & Maintainable Framework Design, SonarQube
Methodologies & Collaboration:
Agile/Scrum, Technical Leadership, Stakeholder Communication, Requirement Analysis
