Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and high-performance data warehousing solutions using Teradata.

You will work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and macros in Teradata.
Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data loading strategies.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing Teradata databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor system performance and implement tuning strategies.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Document development phases and monitor systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Teradata Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Teradata SQL, BTEQ scripting, and utilities.
Experience with Teradata Studio and other Teradata tools.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
Understanding of data security, compliance, and best practices.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
