Job Title-Teradata Developer

Location-Bangalore/Gurgaon

Exp- 5+ Years

Job Summary:

Teradata Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain
Teradata SQL scripts
, stored procedures, and macros.
Analyze and transform complex business requirements into efficient Teradata queries.
Perform
data profiling, cleansing, and transformation
tasks using SQL.
Tune queries for optimal performance on large-scale Teradata systems.
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to deliver data solutions.
Participate in
ETL design
, development, and migration tasks as needed.
Implement
data validation
and quality checks.
Document technical solutions, data flows, and logic for ongoing maintenance.

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years
of hands-on experience with
Teradata SQL development
Strong knowledge of
Teradata architecture, indexing
, and
query optimization
Advanced SQL programming (joins, window functions, CTEs, subqueries, etc.)
Experience with
data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with
BTEQ
,
Teradata Utilities
(TPump, FastLoad, MultiLoad)
Ability to analyze execution plans and improve performance

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with
ETL tools
(Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
Exposure to
cloud data platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of
Shell scripting
or
Python
for automation
Familiarity with
Agile
methodologies and version control (Git)

Education:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
