Technology Engineer - Mechanical

What the role entails

(Key Responsibilities)

• Design and develop precision mechanical components and systems for high-speed industrial machines.
• Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA.
• Perform motion and dynamic analysis to optimize performance and minimize vibration.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and fatigue life using ANSYS or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, controls, and automation teams to ensure seamless mechanical integration.
• Select appropriate materials for high-speed and high-durability applications.
• Apply principles of modular design for scalable and serviceable machine architectures.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and design iteration cycles.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., ISO, CE).
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in design processes, documentation, and cost efficiency.

What we are looking for in you

(Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with high-speed machinery or automation equipment.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA).
• Strong understanding of mechanical dynamics, kinematics, tolerancing, and vibration mitigation.
• Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS for structural and dynamic analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal, and assembly methods.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision tolerance stack-up analysis

3 - 5 years

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
