Job Summary:

Technical Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Skills Development

    • Deliver training in programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java, Python), databases (including SQL), and web development technologies.
    • Provide hands-on training in front-end and full-stack development, DevOps tools and practices, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Kubernetes.
    • Ensure trainees understand the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Training Needs Analysis

    • Collaborate with technical experts to assess training needs.
    • Modify course content and delivery methods based on feedback and performance.
  • Learning Material Development

    • Design and develop engaging training materials using a pedagogy-based approach.
    • Support other trainers and contribute to collaborative training efforts.
  • Training Planning & Execution

    • Plan and schedule training programs aligned with organizational goals.
    • Track progress, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Training Effectiveness & Evaluation

    • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes.
    • Provide feedback to trainees and document training effectiveness through reports.
  • Training Delivery

    • Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions.
    • Use interactive teaching methods to enhance learning.
  • Continuous Learning

    • Stay updated with the latest technologies and training methodologies.
    • Apply new knowledge to improve training quality.
  • Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain attendance records and performance reports.
    • Provide regular updates to management on training progress.
  • Communication & Collaboration

    • Communicate effectively with trainees, team members, and stakeholders.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Responsiveness & Ownership

    • Take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.
    • Be proactive in addressing training challenges and opportunities.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Relations

    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., IT, admin) to ensure smooth training operations.
  • Support for Other Training Programs

    • Assist in training programs at other locations (e.g., Siruseri, COE colleges) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical trainer or software developer.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, databases, and web technologies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design effective training materials and assessments.
