Job Description

Configure, maintain, and monitor SFTP servers and file transfer jobs.Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, keys, and encryption protocols for secure data access.Develop and maintain scripts for automation of file transfers and error handling.Ensure data integrity and security compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate seamless and secure data exchanges.Troubleshoot failed transfers, connectivity issues, or permissions problems.Maintain documentation for transfer workflows, system configurations, and access controls.Monitor system performance and logs, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.Participate in audits and provide reports on file transfer activities as required.

Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience with SFTP, FTPS, or other secure file transfer protocols.

Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Experience with file transfer tools (e.g., OpenSSH, FileZilla Server, GoAnywhere, Globalscape, etc.).

Familiarity with encryption standards such as PGP, SSL/TLS, SSH.
