Experience Level: 3–5 years

We are seeking self motivated and technically skilled Technical Support Manager to lead our Industrial Automation support team. In this role, you will manage customer support operations, troubleshoot complex automation systems, and work closely with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure high customer satisfaction. You will also mentor junior engineers and implement best practices for support operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

Lead and manage a team of technical support engineers and specialists.

Train and mentor junior support staff.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

Provide first-level technical support for automation solution offered, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives, and other automation products.

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via phone, email, or onsite visits as needed.

Technical Expertise

Process Automation and its field components, PLC / DCS control system know how.

Stay up to date on industrial automation.

Customer Engagement & Documentation

Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.

Ensure all technical issues are documented in the system.

Create and maintain technical database and troubleshooting guides.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with sales, manufacturing, sourcing and with site engineers on project and co-ordination.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Instrumentation / E & C

Experience:

3–5 years in technical support, field service, or system integration in industrial automation.

Experience working with brands like Emerson, Honeywell, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi etc.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
