Technical Solution Architect

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions that align with enterprise architecture.
• Create architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level design documents.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and platforms based on project needs.
• Guide development teams through implementation, ensuring adherence to architecture and best practices.
• Participate in technical governance and architectural review boards.
• Ensure solutions are compliant with security, regulatory, and performance requirements.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD, automation, and deployment pipelines support architectural goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform future solutions.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in software development or infrastructure engineering.
• Min. 3+ years experience in a technical architect or solution design role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions.
• Strong expertise in any cloud (Azure preferred), microservices, APIs, databases, security, integration patterns.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or SAFe.

Preferred:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
