Role Overview:

Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and manage multiple technical projects with a focus on trade surveillance systems.
• Engage with Australian stakeholders and global teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Ensure project milestones are met with high quality and within timelines.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Oversight:

• Leverage past hands-on experience in

  Java application development

  to guide technical teams.
• Participate in design reviews, code walkthroughs, and solution architecture discussions.
• Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.

Domain Expertise – Trade Surveillance:

• Drive implementation and enhancement of trade surveillance platforms.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to define surveillance rules and alerts.
• Ensure systems meet regulatory standards (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, MAR).
• Analyze trading patterns and support investigations into potential market abuse.

Leadership & Accountability:

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in project delivery and team performance.
• Foster a culture of transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in project execution and communication.
