Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager you will own the roadmap for ingestion, enrichment, and distribution pipelines driving initiatives that boost data quality, shrink latency, and open new revenue or cost-efficiency opportunities for Nielsen and its clients.

What You ll Do

Own & deliver high-impact enhancements

Define vision, KPIs (coverage, latency, accuracy, SLA).

Launch at least one major lineup/metadata release per year that materially improves those KPIs.

Turn root-cause insights into a data-driven backlog

Build defect heat-maps from logs, QC dashboards, and partner tickets.

Run 5-Whys and RICE/WSJF scoring to convert findings into an ROI-ranked roadmap.

Keep stakeholders and partners tightly aligned

Maintain a continuous feedback loop with Operations, Client Service, and Engineering teams.

Host monthly roadmap reviews and publish clear decision rationales.

Drive flawless execution

Join daily stand-ups, unblock engineers, manage scope, and run retrospectives.

Hit lower defect-escape rate and high on-time delivery.

Scan the market and tech landscape

Track competitive metadata providers, FAST-channel growth, LLM-assisted QC, and AI/ML for entity matching.

Deliver two trend briefs per year that influence roadmap or architecture choices.

Lead and mentor

Facilitate at least one discovery workshop annually.

Coach junior PMs or data analysts, sharing best-practice templates for post-mortems and prioritization scorecards.
