Technical Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Define and lead the technology roadmap for AC/DC EV chargers, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  
• Oversee R&D, hardware, firmware, software, and testing teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products.
  
• Drive product development from concept to production, ensuring technical, performance, and cost targets are met.
  
• Ensure compliance with global certification standards (BIS, IEC, CE, UL, ARAI) and manage homologation processes.
  
• Support manufacturing with DFM practices and resolve design or component-related production issues.
  
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  
• Engage with external technology partners, suppliers, and certification bodies for product and process optimization.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
  

Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  
• Proven experience in developing and launching EV chargers or similar power electronic products.
  
• Strong understanding of AC/DC charging protocols (CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T, OCPP, ISO 15118).
  
• Hands-on experience with power conversion topologies, embedded systems, and IoT integrations.
  
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supplier development.
