Our vision is to transform the way underbanked communities manage money with a hand-holding grid aided by intelligent technologies. Headquartered in Navi-Mumbai, we are a 100+ member impact-driven team with offices in Noida, Bangalore, Kochi, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata and other locations.

Where do you come into the picture?

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate has deep experience across backend and frontend technologies, hands-on expertise in Python, .NET (core), Node.js, and extensive experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch. Prior experience in banking or e-commerce domains and DevOps is highly desirable. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical and team management skills in Agile/Scrum environments.

What would a day in your life @ branchX look like?

Our ideal Technical Lead will have:

Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end architecture and development of full-stack applications.

• Own the technical roadmap and ensure timely delivery of features with high quality.

• Mentor and guide engineers on best practices, coding standards, and architecture.

• Perform code reviews, technical audits, and optimization tasks.

• Ensure security, scalability, and performance benchmarks are met.

Full-Stack Development

• Backend: Hands-on coding and design using Python (Django), .NET Core, Node.js (Express/NestJS).

• Frontend: Strong proficiency in React.js / Angular / Vue.js with modern UI/UX standards.

• API Development: RESTful and GraphQL API design and integration.

Desirables:

• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.

• Proficiency in Python, .NET Core, and Node.js with clean, maintainable code practices.

• Strong experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.

• Exposure to banking/fintech or e-commerce platforms is a major advantage.

• Experience with AWS services, cloud security, and cost optimization.

• Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka/RabbitMQ.

• Experience with frontend performance optimization and SSR (Server-Side Rendering).

• Familiarity with domain-driven design, microservices, and serverless architecture.

• AWS certification or equivalent is a plus.
