Position Overview

A tech leader to lead the frontend development area of HMG-CMS (Contents Management System), a core digital transformation project of the HMG Group.

The role involves designing and implementing a user experience-focused frontend architecture in a large-scale project transitioning an existing AEM-based website to a self-developed CMS.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Leading the design of frontend architecture and making technical decisions
• Distributing tasks and mentoring junior developers
• Ensuring code quality and UI/UX stability through code reviews
• Establishing and institutionalizing development culture and Best Practices

Core Development Tasks

• Developing and maintaining components based on React and Gatsby
• Implementing CMS content rendering logic and applying SSG (Static Site Generation)
• Developing client logic for connecting with backend APIs
• Enhancing component encapsulation and reusability utilizing Shadow DOM
• Implementing accessibility and responsive design
• Optimizing frontend performance and improving loading speeds

System Operations and Management

• Monitoring performance using tools like Lighthouse and Web Vitals
• Responding to regular security checks and improving security vulnerabilities
• Handling incident response and urgent issue resolution (including on-call support)
• Operating frontend linkage logic based on Lambda
• Establishing and managing CDN caching strategies

Collaboration and Integration

• Collaborating closely with backend development teams on technical aspects
• Defining and implementing UI/UX requirements with planning/design teams
• Considering integration with the hmg-Commerce system
• Deriving frontend requirements based on the CMS content structure
