You will help provide leadership and direction to the delivery team, as well as Architecture guidance and direction, based on your extensive knowledge of SAP. You are also considered a technical leader within the SAP community, and you consistently offer your knowledge on cutting-edge subjects at community and internal events. Work Location : Phase 1, Hinjewadi, Pune (Hybrid) Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries within the Databricks SQL environment . Evaluate and improve existing queries to enhance performance and efficiency. Provide guidance on best practices for Databricks SQL development , including query structuring, performance tuning, and data reuse strategies. Identify and address inefficiencies in current processes by leveraging advanced Databricks SQL techniques. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to design solutions tailored to the Databricks platform. Educate and upskill the internal team on Databricks SQL features, functionalities, and performance optimization strategies. Requirements: Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks SQL . Solid understanding of general SQL concepts and practices . Proven track record of query optimization and performance tuning within Databricks. Ability to identify and implement best practices for data management, query structuring, and performance in a Databricks environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with big data environments and cloud platforms . Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipeline development .
