Technical Lead - Core Java

As a Senior Software Engineer Lead in Core JAVA at Crest Data, located in Ahmedabad and Pune, India, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Provide expertise in all stages of the software development life cycle - from concept, architecture, design, implementation, to testing. - Lead and mentor a small-sized team to ensure efficient project delivery. - Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices and processes. - Engage in regular client communication and manage client expectations effectively. - Estimate efforts, identify risks, and offer technical support when required. - Manage people effectively through performance reviews, feedback sessions, and task management. - Demonstrate the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities based on dynamic requirements. To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements: - Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, system design, and development. - Have extensive development experience in JAVA and Python programming. - Ideally, have a good understanding of JavaScript technologies such as react, angular, vue, knockout, node, ember, backbone, or express. - Strong fundamentals in Object-Oriented Design and Data Structures. - Experience in direct customer interaction, including requirement gathering, technical discussions, demos, and project delivery. - Familiarity with Agile Software development methodology. - Knowledge of Linux programming, Big Data, or Data Analytics would be advantageous. - Previous experience in leading and mentoring teams is preferred. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to thrive in a minimal resource and supervision environment.
