Technical Lead

Tech Lead - Python & Generative AI

Location: Pune

Experience: 5-10 years total (minimum 3+ years in Generative AI)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Last two Saturdays working) | Mode: Work from Office

Primary Role:

• Lead and mentor a technical team working on generative AI projects.

• Provide hands-on leadership in designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models and systems.

• Serve as the technical point of contact, ensuring collaboration between product, engineering, and data science teams.

Responsibilities & KPIs:

• Guide the team technically throughout projects, defining goals, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.

• Architect and maintain scalable, robust, and cost-efficient AI solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in AI development.

• Manage multiple POCs and project workloads efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists and domain experts to ensure model accuracy and relevance.

• Design end-to-end generative AI pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.

• Optimize AI models for speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.

• Address challenges such as data drift, model degradation, and ensure compliance with security and ethical standards.

• Foster innovation and a culture of continuous learning within the team.

• Align business objectives with technical implementation effectively.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field preferred.

• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with Python programming.

• Minimum 5-10 years total experience in software development

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, delivering 3-4 projects

• Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, and generative AI

technologies including LLM, RAG, and multi-modal architectures.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Hugging Face.

• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML workflows.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying AI solutions.

• Up-to-date with current AI trends and open source technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Exposure to financial services domain is a plus.

• Basic understanding of UI frameworks (e.g., Angular) is a plus.
