Technical Documentation Writer

As a Technical Writer / Editor, you will support engineering writers, systems engineers, application engineers, and software engineers by creating and editing technical documentation. Your work will describe the functionality and usage of software and tools/products for external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and produce internal and end-user documentation, including enablement documents, datasheets, reference manuals, user guides, release notes, and application notes.
• Gather and organize technical information from subject matter experts.
• Edit documents for grammar, clarity, and adherence to company style guidelines.
• Coordinate the publication of documentation in PDF, HTML, or similar formats.
• Assist engineering writers in preparing highly technical documentation.
• Receive, analyze, and manage customer defect tickets related to documentation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate processes and identity standards.
• Proofread and perform spell checks within the team.

Tools and Technologies

• DITA and Markdown documentation
• Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Authoring and publishing in HTML, PDF, or similar formats

Collaboration

• Work closely with the development team, including software engineers and enablement managers.
• Collaborate with integration engineers, support engineers, and testers.
