Job Description

As a Technical Writer at our company, your role involves writing, editing, proofreading, and preparing product manuals according to release schedules. You will collaborate with development engineering and technical marketing teams to understand the intended use of various Tensilica processor hardware and software features and translate them into clear reference manuals and user guides. Key Responsibilities: - Write, edit, proofread, and prepare product manuals per release schedules - Collaborate with engineering, customer support, and product management to ensure the readability, technical accuracy, and completeness of product documentation - Participate in developing departmental authoring guides, tools, and process improvements Qualifications Required: - Background in Mass Communication, Physics, or English - Familiarity with semiconductor-related technical jargon, software debuggers, and EDA tool scripts - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Working knowledge of programming languages such as Verilog, formal verification, or logic synthesis - Proficiency in publications tools like Frame Maker, MS Word, Visio, Eclipse / Web help - Great interpersonal skills and positive teamwork attitude If you have 1-3 years of writing or customer support experience in the electronics, networking, or computer industry, it would be advantageous. Knowledge of the Semiconductor Industry is a plus. Additionally, the ability to edit or create web pages will be beneficial for this role. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team that values solution-oriented and self-motivated individuals who can manage multiple projects efficiently. Your understanding of complex technical concepts and your attention to detail in documentation will be crucial for success in this role.,
