Technical Business Analyst

Role Summary
The Business System Analyst will partner closely with product, engineering, UX, and business teams to deliver seamless digital journeys for the bank. The role requires strong analytical capability, structured documentation skills, and hands-on experience working within Agile squads to translate business needs into high-quality functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, UX, product, marketing, and business teams) to define and refine digital journey requirements.
• Break down business needs into Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and detailed process flows / process maps.
• Perform API mapping, review service contracts, and prepare clear API documentation to support integration teams.
• Ensure all user stories are complete, testable, and aligned with program objectives and regulatory standards.

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups in partnership with other stakeholders
• Own and manage the prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic program goals and timely refinement.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and ensure delivery quality.

Product Performance & Enhancements

• Monitor digital journey performance, analyze metrics/feedback, and recommend improvements or new feature opportunities.
• Partner with QA teams by supporting test case creation, validating acceptance criteria, and coordinating UAT sign-offs.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all functional requirements, journeys, and integrations adhere to security, regulatory, compliance, and operational standards used in banking environments.

Gen AI & Emerging Technology

• Demonstrate understanding of Generative AI andapply the same for daily work and project requirements
• Stay updated on digital banking trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring innovation into the product roadmap.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Experience delivering digital products/journeys in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong skills in requirement elicitation, process modeling, API understanding, and writing structured documentation.
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban) with experience collaborating in Agile squads.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders, manage dependencies, and drive clarity in complex delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹654,553.10 - ₹2,103,384.63 per year
