Qualification- B. Tech/B.E. Chemical/Textile and Fiber Science/Petrochemical/Food technology/Dairy technology/Biotechnology/Leather/

Biomedical/ Agricultural or M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology (FCT)

(with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA or First Division)

Education-

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Inspection, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance in the food, chemical, or textile industry.

Job Profile -

The Food Chemical Textiles Auditor is responsible for conducting inspections to ensure compliance with Indian Standards (IS) formulated by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for food, chemicals, and textile products. The auditor will evaluate processes, raw materials finished products, in manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the compliance of processes and products with relevant BIS standards for food, chemicals, and textiles.

Inspect the Factory thoroughly with respect to specific product requirement, raw material, storage, manufacturing process, and examine the result of incoming inspection or test certificate of raw material. Check the record of production, calibration status of instrument, manufacturing machinery and laboratory testing including competence of manpower. Draw the samples for lab testing and witness its testing in Factory for the important requirement of specification.

Ensure that testing procedures comply with BIS standards and protocols.

Analyse test results and compare them with standard specifications.

Familiarity with BIS standards and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and analytical methods.

This role requires frequent travel to various manufacturing units.
