Technical Architect

Your role will involve contributing to the development of end-user module firmware, implementing new features, ensuring compatibility with the latest telecommunication and industry standards, and analyzing customer requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Solution Design:** You will design the system architecture in alignment with clients" business goals, develop scalable and robust software architectures, create technical diagrams, and balance trade-offs to optimize performance, scalability, flexibility, and maintainability. - **Technical Leadership:** As the technical lead, you will guide developers to ensure customizations, integrations, and configurations are consistent with the overall architectural vision. You will work with tools and languages like Gosu, Java, and RESTful APIs within the Guidewire ecosystem. - **Integration Management:** Your role will involve integrating Guidewire InsuranceSuite with other enterprise systems using tools such as the Guidewire Integration Framework, WebHooks, and Integration Gateway to ensure smooth data flow. - **Customer Engagement:** You will collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participation in stakeholder meetings and managing expectations to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives will be part of your responsibilities. - **Continuous Improvement:** You will provide ongoing support, identify areas for enhancement, and ensure systems evolve with clients" needs by working closely with product management and development teams. **Required Skills And Experience:** - 8+ years of hands-on experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java (JVM, SDK, J2EE, JMS, JDBC). - Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns. - Proficiency in Guidewire Cloud products, effective verbal and written communication skills, experience in consulting or customer-facing roles, and agile team experience. - Skilled at solution design, estimation, code review best practices, and working with development tools and frameworks. - Exposure to cloud technologies, willingness for occasional international travel, and flexibility for shift work as needed.
