Technical Analyst Java

As a Senior Technical Analyst specializing in Java, you will leverage your 10+ years of experience in developing core Java applications across various environments including enterprise, SME, or start-up settings. Your expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures will be put to use as you design and build microservices while ensuring effective monitoring. Your skill set in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful API development will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining robust systems. Proficiency in persistence technologies such as JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL is essential for this role. You should have a solid understanding of Java 11+ features like Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps is required. Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a preference for AWS, is expected. Front-end development experience using React or Angular will be beneficial, along with knowledge of best practices in HTML, CSS3/Tailwind, and Responsive designs. Your ability to thrive in Agile environments with iterative development and regular demos is essential. Experience with container orchestration using Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) is desired, as well as working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts. Hands-on experience in integrating applications with cloud services and event-driven technologies like Kafka, MQ, and Event Buses will be advantageous. Any familiarity with the hospitality services domain is considered a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices are required. You should be adept at code and query optimization and have experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
