Tech Support - Job description – Payfin

We are a growing fintech startup building secure and scalable digital payment solutions for businesses. Our merchants rely on us for smooth transactions, and our Tech Support team ensures they get the help they need, when they need it.

You as a Tech Support Executive, will be the first line of support for our merchants and internal teams. You’ll handle queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quick resolution to keep our payment systems running smoothly. If you’re someone who is tech-savvy, problem-solving oriented, and customer focused.

You will be Responsible for:

  • Handle queries related to payment gateway, UPI, payouts, settlements, and integrations.
  • Provide real-time support via calls, emails, and chat.
  • Guide merchants through technical processes (API integration, dashboard usage, reconciliation).
  • Diagnose and resolve transaction failures, integration errors, and downtime issues.
  • Work with the tech team to escalate unresolved problems.
  • Document issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Gather merchant feedback and share with product/tech teams for improvements.
  • Create and update FAQs, support documentation, and training material.
  • Help optimize support processes for faster resolutions.

Must Have:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Good understanding of APIs, payment flows, UPI, and digital transactions (training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication, mandatory (English + Hindi).
  • Ability to work in shifts if required (depending on merchant support hours).
  • Experience with ticketing tools (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira) is an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Computer Science / IT or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in tech support / customer support (experience in fintech or SaaS preferred).
  • Freshers with good technical aptitude may also apply.
