Job Title: Team Leader Finance

About the Role

Team Leader – Finance

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of finance professionals in daily operational tasks.
Supervise activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial closings.
Review financial statements, journal entries, and other reports prepared by the team.
Interpret and analyse Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
Perform and oversee loan reconciliations and related reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Handle VAT accounting and reconciliation, including preparation and review of VAT returns.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
Identify areas for process enhancement and implement efficiency measures.
Mentor and train junior team members to build internal capability.
Prepare advanced reports and reconciliations with a strong command of MS Excel.

Key Requirements

Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA Finance preferred).
4–5 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
Good Communication Skills.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and reporting frameworks.
Proficient in financial software and tools including MS Excel (advanced), Tally, SAP, or equivalents.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Prior experience working with European clients is a strong advantage.
Must be available to work full-time from the Hyderabad office, Monday to Friday.
