Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using Talend. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and migration processes, and will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend (Open Studio / Talend DI / Talend Big Data).
Integrate data from various sources including databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.
Optimize and troubleshoot Talend jobs for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality.
Deploy Talend jobs to production and monitor for failures or performance issues.
Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in ETL development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-4 years of experience in Talend ETL development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based data services.
Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Talend certification is a plus.
Experience with Talend Big Data or Talend Cloud.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
